Sonning Common Youth Club
The Parish Council runs Sonning Common Youth Club. It is a safe place for young people to go to relax, have fun and make new friends.
The club meets on a Wednesday and Thursday, 6.30pm-8.30pm in the Youth Wing at Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge School.
The youth club benefits from fully trained and DBS checked staff and has been accredited with the Ambition UK Quality First Steps Youth Club award for being recognised as a safe and well-run organisation. Ambition UK is a leading national body and youth charity working to support organisations and groups working with young people and on behalf of young people.
The youth club is also affiliated to Oxfordshire Youth and Berkshire Youth- local umbrella charities who support the club with day to day running, training and events.
Volunteer
Volunteers are always required by the youth club. If you can spare a couple of hours a month or week to help out, then please get in touch. We need people to help man the tuck shop, play sports, help with arts/crafts/cooking or just to lend a hand in supervising the young people to keep everyone safe.
